Here let me introduce my favorite career: Barbarian.
It is an emotional reason that I like Barbarian the most. In vanilla D2, I used Barbarian in HC to challenge Uber Tristram for about four times or less. I can't remember. But I did succeed in the challenge. And it was fun as well at the time. So this was why I chose Barbarian as my first character to play TSW mod. It was the career that I was most confident.
And in TSW mod, the characteristics are still preserved. In fact, it is extended because the consumption of mana of Bo skills decreases. So it is easier to use. This is one of the change that TSW mod improves so players can use more or have more choices to use different skills. I think it was the time I played Barbarian that I felt the variety and possibility of TSW mod.
As I have mentioned before, it is a "Pro Offensive Meter" for me because of its variety of attacking method and defending method. Paladin is on the opposite site of Barbarian. It has little attacking method but the most defensive skills. And since Barbarian has too many choices, it needs more precise judgement. And thus it is easy to begin but hard to master. It reflects the understanding of TSW mod of the player.
And there is another disadvantage that it doesn't has a powerful AOE. Whirlwind is not a stable AOE. For example, the Phoenix Strike is a powerful AOE that you don't have to process every monster one by one. Because some monsters will die due to the skill effect. Or Raise Skeleton of Necromancer can let you watch TV as well. But for Barbarian, there are no skills like them, you basically need to process every monster, to think how to solve it one by one. In the long term, it will make you tired but you may not notice it. So I don't play Barbarian recently, even though I like it. It is not proper for a lazy player like me.
