Although I said previously that I don't want to talk about things too serious because they are boring usually. It just comes to my mind that well, maybe it is fun. So let me try to write this article in an interesting way as possible as I can.
I will cut the serious part off in case I feel bored. It may sound arrogant. But if I rank myself as a TSW mod player. I would rank me as Grandmaster, pro of pro, not only Master (pro) but Grandmaster. With all my life, as a TSW mod player may be my top 1 of ability list in physical world. It doesn't matter whether it is "useful" (which means it can earn money generally) or not. Just the abilities how much I can do that I know in my heart.
With this experience, it seems that I can recognize other pro in different fields even though I don't know the field very much. The best evidence happened this year. I somehow learned to distinguish the level of Orchestra performance. Which was thought as the top ability to listen to classical music. And it was confirmed by a real pro, who was also my teacher by definition because it happened on the internet, I learned by the articles or posts he posted on the forum or his blog. And I was not intent to do that at the first. I just wanted to know about audio system because I like to listen to non-classical music. But this guy was a classical music fan and pro who had immersed for decades. I need to know about classical music so I could know what he mean in his posts.
And after about three or four years, in a chance I began to listen to classical music via youtube. And somehow I just was touched by the orchestra. And he explained that I was touched by the performance of the orchestra. And then I began to listen to classical music and learn hard by youtube this year. Because I wanted to know that how far I could go with my cheap audio system. There are some relationship between audio and recording and orchestra performance. Generally you need a good and correct system so that you can tell. And my audio system is really simple. This is why I want to test myself as a sample. Well there are other kinds of serious things but I just skip. Just let you know that I do something rare (or unbelievable). As a consequence, I passed the tests he gave me. So this event is meaningful to me, because I never listen to classical music before. I know what support me to achieve this. And one of them is my ability of D2 TSW mod.
As a pro player, even I never listened to classical music, I could distinguish the difference between plain and extraordinary musician. This really happened to me. And of course it needs a correct education. Because it still needs someone to tell me which one is the best or better. Anyway, all conditions were combined together like puzzles so it happened. And one of them is my experience of playing D2 including TSW mod. Because of this, I can prove that things I learn in D2 including TSW mod are valuable.
The same thing happened in other fields. But I skip them to make it shorter and clear. With this skill I have, I also found that I am becoming strict on something that I take seriously. But I am more tolerable to people who are not so pro since I know how difficult it is. Let me explain or you may think I am contrast. I am interested in those who are really pro, so I have no interest in what people think as interesting. And when I play Overcooked 2 with other players, if I see someone was not so good. I will be more tolerable and think the guy is newbie. By the way, I can separate whether the guy is newbie or foolish by actions. In the past I may feel angry because of it. But now I am not so emotional. So, in Chinese we say "to learn a technique that you are good at." In my opinion, this is one of them although it can not make money or something else. To me, this is meaningful in my life.
